Weddings at Wesley
ALL those, regardless of age, race, citizenship, religion or sexual orientation who desire a Christian wedding, and have a valid marriage license, have the minister’s approval and agree to follow the procedures set out by Wesley United Church are welcome to be married here.

Service in the Church Sanctuary:
Mandatory Fees:
$250.00 Location fee for non-members
$0 Location fee contributing members
$350.00 Minister (includes rehearsal)
$150.00 Custodian (includes rehearsal)
$250.00 Music Director (includes consultation) - Soloist extra
Attendance at rehearsal an extra $50.00

DEPOSIT
$500.00 deposit required for weddings/renewals at time of booking
$300.00 is non-refundable and $200.00 is refundable if the wedding is cancelled
Balance due one week before wedding date

POLICIES:
The wedding is a service of worship. Anything that detracts from the purpose of the service should be eliminated.
The presiding minister will have the final say as to whether the wedding will proceed.
All wedding music must be approved by the music director.
Plans for a soloist or instrumentalist(s) should be discussed at consultation.
The organ and piano may only be used by the director of music or his/her designate. The Director of Music must approve for either instrument to be used by anyone else.
Photography, videography and other recording of the service is permitted but must be discreet and non-intrusive.
Flash photography should be limited to the processional, recessional and the signing of the registry.
No food or beverages are allowed in the sanctuary other than for communion.
No confetti or rice is allowed on church property which includes outside.
