Apple Corps and Saturday Apple Cafe
Wesley's Apple Corps and the weekly Cafe continue to grow and remains an important part of the Wesley ministry.
The Saturday Café has been full every week with both loyal and new customers. Production, from our committee of volunteers, has kept up with demand and resulted in over 3,000 pies (large & small combined) and over 10,000 apple dumplings in 2024.
Apple Corps makes a significant donation to Wesley each year, in addition to community charities that received over $12,000 in 2024, such as:
It should be noted that 30% of our volunteers are not members of Wesley. They have committed their
time and talents to Apple Corps because they are attracted by the “what, why and how” of our “mission.” They, like the rest of Apple Corps want to “give back.”
