Mill Race Folk Traditions feat. Granite Hill
Alan Reid is a Glasgow-born musician and has shared Scottish folk music worldwide since 1975. He joined the Battlefield Band in 1969 while at Strathclyde University, recording nearly 30 albums and pioneering the band's Celtic sound. He became its principal songwriter in 1990, crafting songs rich in Scots history. In 2010, he left to collaborate with Rob van Sante, composing music for their albums and multi-media productions. His work has been featured in theater and recordings, including those of Tuomas Holopainen. Inducted into the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame in 2016, he now performs solo and teaches Scots Song internationally.

Based out of southwestern Ontario, Granite Hill is a fairly new band that includes members with many years of experience in bluegrass as well as other musical genres.
They entertain with a mixture of contemporary and traditional bluegrass material, including 3-part harmony vocals, dynamic instrumentals, and even a few numbers imported from country or folk.
Band members include Doug McNaughton, Norm Tellier, Steve Greer, Al Draper and Neil Cudney, on upright bass (& vocals).
𝐑𝐏𝐑 is a Canadian folk-rock band known for engaging live shows, soaring vocals and huge harmonies, all showcasing the music of this powerhouse band.
Running the spectrum from stirring anthems to whisper-gentle ballads, RPR’s songs evoke joy, tears and laughter with a dynamic tapestry of musical styles that range from folk, rock and blues traditions in unique and refreshing ways.
It’s cinematic storytelling from four captivating songwriters.

Wesley PRESENTS is a concert venue located in the historic Wesley United Church in downtown Galt/Cambridge, adjacent to the Farmers Market and City Hall.
